Alain Aspect: Shedding new light on light and atoms

The CNRS physicist Alain Aspect has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022, along with his colleagues John Francis Clauser, from the US, and Anton Zeilinger, from Austria, « for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science”.
