Gillian Hendy is an Electrochemist at MIT, Langer lab, USA. She is a Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellow. The outgoing fellowship allows experienced European-based researchers to gain new knowledge in a leading organisation outside Europe.
The aim of her research is to develop a new conducting and biodegradable polymer to carry an electrical signal from the brain to the muscle. The Marie Curie funding enables her to acquire new skills and be part of an outstanding research centre.
